Overview
Our Ointment Manufacturing Plants consist of a fully automated system incorporating three main vessels — the Water Phase Vessel, Oil Phase Vessel, and Manufacturing Vessel — all interconnected via hygienic pipelines and valves. Each vessel performs a specific function:

  • Water Phase Vessel: Heats and prepares the water phase.
  • Oil Phase Vessel: Melts waxes, jellies, or oil-based ingredients.
  • Manufacturing Vessel: Executes precision blending, homogenization, and emulsification of ingredients using top and bottom entry agitators and high-speed choppers for optimal product consistency.

Working Principle

The system operates as a closed-loop process — waxes and water are fed into their respective vessels, melted/heated to required temperatures, and vacuum-transferred to the manufacturing vessel via filters. Here, the emulsion is formed under high shear conditions and re-circulated through a transfer pump to ensure homogeneity. Once the batch is complete, it is transferred to a Storage Vessel and finally to the Tube Filling Machine — all without manual contact, preserving hygiene and product integrity.

Production Capacities

Barvaya offers Ointment Manufacturing Plants in capacities ranging from 10 kg to 5000 kg per batch. Our 100 kg and 500 kg systems are especially popular among mid-size and largescale producers.
