Built to accommodate a wide range of bottle and cap sizes, the linear capping system uses belt or disc-based gripping mechanisms and torque-controlled capping heads to ensure consistent, secure, and leak-proof closures.

Working Principle

  • Bottle Infeed: Bottles enter the capping zone via a conveyor belt in a straight-line orientation.
  • Cap Sorting & Placement: Caps are automatically sorted and fed to the pick-up station, where they are placed on the bottle mouths.
  • Capping Operation: Pneumatically or mechanically driven capping heads descend to tighten the caps with pre-set torque. In some models, multiple belts gently grip and rotate the caps for closure.
  • Bottle Outfeed: Capped bottles exit the machine via conveyor, ready for labeling or further processing.
